Bandwidth

Each rented server has up to 1 Gbit/s of bandwidth on a best-effort basis. Actual speeds depend on network conditions. For higher bandwidth or other network requirements, email info@swissgpu.ch for a custom configuration.

IPv6 and IPv4

All servers are currently reachable via IPv6 only by default, with access to the full range of ports. Your local network must support IPv6, and your applications must listen on an IPv6 address for direct access. The server's own firewall still controls which services accept connections.

If you need IPv4, contact info@swissgpu.ch for a custom configuration. Automated IPv4 configuration is in development.

Network Isolation

Each physical node is on its own isolated subnet. Nodes cannot access one another through the internal network by default, even when rented by the same customer. If you need your nodes to communicate, email info@swissgpu.ch so we can configure the firewall for your needs.
